Turnitin assignment 2 activity is not supported from Moodle anymore as it causes technical issues like:
- Moodle performance becomes slower
- Similarity report takes a very long time to appear from Turnitin
- Students are not able to view the highlighted sentences from Turnitin which causes high percentages on similarity reports
- Students are not able to view and download the feedback from Turnitin studio
Required actions from all lecturers:
- Do not use Turnitin assignment 2 activity(redirect students to “Assignment” activity for submissions)
- Use assignment activity (which is integrated with Turnitin) instead of Turnitin assignment 2
- Need to download and pass the submission for the student who needs to view the feedback that written in Turnitin studio
- Students can follow the instructions from the below link to check the similarity report then they can upload the final file for the official submission in Turnitin assignment 2:
Notes:
- Assignment activity integrated with Turnitin doesn’t have an issue with Turnitin from the student’s view.
- Turnitin assignment 2 activity: will not be removed from Moodle to keep the old submissions
